Mondo Grass
This popular Dwarf version of the Black Dragon mondo grass can be used as a groundcover for a very dramatic effect. Narrow, black, grass-like leaves form a spreading dense mat. Stunning contrast for the front of the border with exceptional, dense, purple-black, grass-like foliage. Produces white to pale lilac flowers in summer that are followed by purple berries in fall, creating additional interest in the landscape. Use en masse as edging, or tuck into mixed containers.
