this ajuga produces large crinkled purplely/green leaves to 25cm in length. Spires of lilac blue flowers emerge in spring. Tolerates most soil types but prefers moist conditions. Grows to a height of 20cm and spreads over an area of 1 – 2 metres. Makes an excellent ground cover or border plant.
